1. Who We Are

Style Profiler is a product of Glintera, Inc. ("Glintera," "we," "us," or "our"). We provide a web application that helps interior designers assess and document their clients' design preferences. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@glintera.co.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Designers: When you create an account or sign in, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. You may sign in with email/password or through Google OAuth. Authentication is managed through Supabase Auth.

  • Clients: We collect your name and email address as provided by your designer. Clients access the app through magic links and do not need to create accounts.

Google Sign-In Data

When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive the following information from Google: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your Glintera account and to personalize your experience within the application. We do not use this data for advertising, share it with third parties beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy, or store it beyond what is necessary to operate your account. You may revoke Style Profiler's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Project and Usage Data

  • Project names, room names, and client names entered by designers.

  • Inspiration images uploaded by designers or clients.

  • Client ratings, comments, and pin annotations on images.

  • AI-generated style profiles derived from client feedback.

  • Designer profile information including logos and brand colors for white-label customization.

Collaboration Data

  • Collaborator email addresses and invitation records.

Log and Analytics Data

  • Server logs including timestamps, request paths, HTTP methods, and response status codes.

  • Error logs for debugging and service reliability.

Cookies and Local Storage

  • Authentication tokens: Secure tokens managed by Supabase Auth to maintain your authenticated session.

  • Preference data: Small amounts of local storage data to remember UI state. This is not used for tracking.

  • We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate the application: Authenticate users, manage projects and collaborators, store and display images, and generate AI-powered style profiles.

  • Generate style profiles: Analyze client feedback on images using AI to produce actionable design preference summaries, including photo-realistic material swatch recommendations.

  • Send transactional emails: Deliver collaborator invitations and other service-related communications via email.

  • Improve the product: Analyze aggregate usage patterns to identify bugs, improve performance, and develop new features.

  • Provide support: Respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and communicate important service updates.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or serve ads.

4. How We Share Your Information

Service Providers

We use the following categories of vendors to operate Style Profiler:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Our application and database are hosted on Replit. Uploaded images are stored in cloud object storage.

  • AI processing: We use Anthropic's Claude API to analyze images for room classification and to generate style profiles. Images and associated metadata are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic's data usage policies apply to that processing.

  • Authentication: Supabase Auth handles user authentication, including Google OAuth sign-in. Supabase's privacy policy applies to authentication data they process.

  • Email: We use Resend to deliver transactional emails such as collaborator invitations.

Designer-Uploaded Client Data

When designers use Style Profiler, they may enter personal information about their clients (such as names and email addresses) into the platform. In this context, the designer is the data controller — they are responsible for having a lawful basis to share that information with us — and Glintera acts as a data processor, processing client data solely on the designer's behalf and only as necessary to provide the Service. We do not use client data for any purpose beyond delivering the Service to the designer who uploaded it. Designers who are subject to GDPR or other data protection regulations and require a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may contact us at privacy@glintera.co.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Legal and Safety

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Glintera, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

  • Project data: Projects, images, ratings, and style profiles are retained for the duration of the designer's account. Designers can delete individual projects at any time, which permanently removes all associated data (images, ratings, pins, and style profiles).

  • Authentication data: Session tokens are managed by Supabase Auth and expire according to their security policies.

  • Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging and security purposes, then automatically deleted.

  • Collaboration data: Retained for the duration of the collaboration relationship. Removing a collaborator deletes their association but not projects they were invited to view.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access and Portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data.

Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. Designers can delete their projects directly within the app. For full account deletion, contact us at privacy@glintera.co.

GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the EEA, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is contractual necessity (to provide the service you've signed up for) and legitimate interest (to improve and secure our product).

CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@glintera.co. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data in transit.

  • Secure authentication token management through Supabase Auth.

  • Database credentials and API keys stored as encrypted secrets, never exposed in client-side code.

  • Access controls ensuring users can only view and modify data they are authorized to access.

  • Cloud infrastructure with built-in security controls provided by our hosting partners.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Style Profiler is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through in-app notification or email.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
