The Library Release: Search, Tagging & a Smarter Way to Work

New Features

Image Library โ€” Glintera now has a full image library at the heart of the workflow. Instead of managing inspiration images project by project, your entire collection lives in one place โ€” searchable, tagged, and ready to pull into any project.

  • Search by project name, client name, or style tag so the right image is always a few keystrokes away

  • Every image is automatically analyzed by AI and tagged with style archetypes, room types, color palette, materials, textures, mood, and era โ€” no manual tagging required

  • After running a project analysis, the Suggestions tab identifies style gaps and surfaces images from your library that fill them โ€” already-added images sort to the bottom so you're never guessing what's been used

  • Duplicate images are automatically detected and removed, with a one-click tool to clean up your existing library

Collaborator system โ€” Replaced team management with a simpler model. Invite collaborators by email and they automatically get access to your projects when they log in. Invitation emails include your business name and logo.

Supabase authentication โ€” Migrated to email/password and Google sign-in with email verification, password reset flows, and branded email templates.

PostHog & Google Analytics โ€” Added analytics tracking across the app, including funnel tracking for the client rating flow.

Privacy policy & terms of service โ€” Legal documents are now accessible from the app.

Enhancements

  • Design system overhaul with a new brand color palette and CSS design tokens โ€” no more hardcoded colors, everything updates from one place

  • Tutorial rebuilt as a 7-step guided flow with animations, AI-powered object detection, and responsive tooltip positioning

  • Client pin experience improved with interactive popovers, clickable pins with tooltip labels, and better AI material identification

  • PDF layout polished with consistent margins, font weights, page break handling, and image positioning

  • Updated room icons including a new parasol icon for outdoor/patio spaces

  • Top images section now displays up to 5 images per row

  • Taste profile can now be regenerated with retry functionality

  • Login and projects pages redesigned to match updated specs

  • Unauthenticated users are now redirected to the marketing site instead of a blank page

Bug Fixes

  • Collaborator invitations now auto-accept when the invited user logs in

  • Improved session persistence and reliability

  • Fixed auto-login after password reset

  • Fixed error when copying a project invitation link

  • Fixed error when rating client projects

  • Fixed material swatch images not appearing in generated PDFs

  • Fixed library search returning false positives on partial word matches

  • Fixed server crashes caused by excessive logging

PDF Export, White Labeling & a Whole Lot More

Bug Fixes

  • Pin/region drawing issues โ€” Fixed several bugs where dragging to draw regions on images would behave unpredictably (pins dropping accidentally, regions continuing to draw after mouse release, inaccurate placement). Simplified the interaction to clean point-click pins.

  • Collaborator invitation auto-accept โ€” Fixed an issue where collaborator invitations weren't being accepted automatically when the invited user logged in.

New Features

  • White labeling / brand customization โ€” Designers can now customize the client-facing experience with their own logo and brand colors, so the app feels like their own tool when sharing with clients.

  • AI-generated material swatches โ€” Each material in the taste profile now has a photo-realistic texture swatch image, generated on demand and cached in cloud storage for reuse across projects.

  • PDF export โ€” Full multi-page taste profile PDF with embedded custom fonts (Clash Display headings, Instrument Sans body). Includes all sections: style archetype, confidence score, summary, contradictions, avoid list, top images, color palettes, AI-generated material swatches, and per-room breakdowns with loved/avoid lists.

    • More work needs to be done here, it looks super janky, but it's a solid first pass.

  • Interactive client tutorial โ€” New onboarding tutorial walks clients through how to rate images and add pins, with step-by-step interactive dialogs.

  • Image detail modal โ€” Clicking any image opens a two-column detail view showing the photo with pin overlays, star rating, client comments, and all tags/annotations.

  • Image downloads โ€” All inspiration images and material swatches can be downloaded directly from the taste profile page.

  • Top images section โ€” New section aggregating the highest-rated images across all rooms.

  • Sticky room navigation โ€” Table of contents sidebar with room-specific icons that highlights the active section as you scroll.
